New Academic Year 2020

Starting a new academic year is always stressful, to us teachers. But this new academic year would be tooo NEW, this I never expected. I have been a homeroom teacher for more than 6 years, and worked as an assistant for 2.5 years. Last year my new role was to be helping and support students during some specific subjects. I initially found this challenging, as the teenager students wouldn’t really ask for help, nor wanted to be corrected. So after many falls on their faces, they relented and allowed me to help and interact with them. 
But after sometime, I found it boring and not challenging enough. Until this year landed on my lap. 
This year, I teach students from year 2 up to year 7. Some are high and some low.

Travel with some Adventure

 I love traveling, who doesn't. But not everyone enjoys traveling with dangerous and drastic events. (well not so drastic, I think I’m exaggerating).  So my ex-partner asked me to travel with her, and after coordinating with my daughter to come over from her city to be with my little pet, I decided to go on this trip with her. Didn't tell anyone, in fact I almost forgot about it, until the week arrived, and my daughter reminds me about it. Mother and Daughter

 The relations between a mother and daughter is supposed to be something that is precious and warm feeling and just pouring your heart to, without being judged or even stressed. It's like having a cat as a pet, they just absorb everything unsaid by you, and at the end makes your feel better.  But that isn't the case on this end. I enjoy talking to my mother, but I get extremely drained (not stressed) out after I have hung up. I wonder if it's something others have also felt, esp between a mother and daughter. (not referring to a son).  I see my community friends talking fondly to their moms, at least 3-4 times a day. I can't even imagine myself doing that, it's a BIG NO. I would go bonkers.  I see my good friends speaking so lovingly about the things they are buying for their mothers, but if I even buy anything for her, it's going to be said "oh I dont like this," "this should be like this", or "can you pls return and get me a size small...

Bali

I finally arrive in the Bali. People say that India is the most spiritual place but to me, it’s Bali.  As I stepped out of the plane and into the airport, I had this heavy feeling of just bursting out in tears. I don’t know what it was but of coz had to hold myself.  So I’m finally here for more than 20 days, with my daughter. Going to enjoy being here, being in the nature- real nature, sunshine - however blazing hot it is, can’t be as bad as my current city, and enjoy the feeling of this blissful freedom. Yes feeling of freedom, again I don’t why specifically FREEDOM, but it is what it is.  Cheers
